Apple announced over the weekend that their App Store had reached it's milestone of 10 billion downloads, with the 10 billionth app being the free game Paper Glider.
The announcement about the milestone was made on Saturday with a message on it's homepage saying: "Thank you. Ten billion times."
Gail Davis from Orpington in Kent UK was the lucky person to recieve a $10,000 iTunes gift card, after her daughters downloaded the 10 billionth app.
The App Store was first opened in July 2008, and today people with iPhones, iPods and iPads all over the world are using their devices to download apps every second, so it's no wonder the 10 billion mark has been reached so quickly - however, an asto...
